GM to end Saab brand after talks with buyer fail
BOOOOO. >:(
When they say Saab has a “small but devoted following,” they’re not kidding. My dad is an enthusiast, but he’s not one of the funnel people, thankfully. He has a 2004 9-3 sedan and I have a 1994 900S hatchback. We love these cars and the death of the brand is sad.
This is “after.” And this is why I went out and washed the damn car at 9:30 in the morning when it was 40 degrees out. (Yes, believe it or not, this is an improvement. I swear there is dirt on this car that is going to survive a nuclear war.)
I washed my car today. This is what it looked like “before.”
This was all over my car this morning. Fucking Silly String. Fucking neighborhood kids.
So the little display in my car, pictured above, said it was 91ºF out while I was out running errands. I think it’s really closer to 85ºF, because my car’s entire interior is black and it tends to run a bit hot in there. Still, the point is, it’s hot out today here in Isle of Rhode.
My iPod is a jerk and played all of the following while I was out driving around:
- Joe Satriani - “Day at the Beach (New Rays from an Ancient Sun)”
- Jimmy Sommers - “The Islands”
- Jamiroquai - “Canned Heat”
- The Lovin’ Spoonful - “Summer in the City”
- Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band - “The Fire Down Below”
WHAT IS IT WITH THE SONGS ABOUT HOT STUFF, iPOD?! GAWD.
