June 9, 1946: Ted Williams hit a home run 502 feet within the confines of Fenway Park, nailing a spectator in the bleacher section in right field (which, at the time, were real bleachers, not individual seats). The famed Red Seat can be found at Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21.
