I didn’t submit this. But I totally could have.

Re: Alphas: I will pretty much watch anything involving David Strathairn.
Yup. As I sit here watching it.
At least I also like Gary and Bill, else I would be wondering what I am doing with my life.

Netflix is an enabler.
This movie is excellent. You should take an hour and a half out of your day and watch it.
Also, Netflix needs to get with the ratings program. Never mind it thinking I might like a Ken Burns documentary because I enjoyed a Monty Python movie. No. It suggested a three-star rating from me for this masterpiece. First of all, it is up my alley anyway (under two hours, small budget, small cast); second of all, if a movie exists and David Strathairn is in it for more than five minutes, you need to add a star to whatever rating you think I’m going to give it. That Netflix won’t let me give Good Night, and Good Luck six stars entirely for that reason is a TRAVESTY.
NO. YOU DO NOT SEE HOW ENDLESSLY AWESOME THIS IS.
One: I am a nerd, I love military history, I love science, I have theoretical physics books on my shelf, my tenth-grade History Day exhibit was about the Manhattan Project, and Oppenheimer fascinates me to no end.
Two: David Strathairn played Oppenheimer recently in a PBS documentary and he was brilliant. I love David Strathairn.
Three: I love Sam Waterston more than I love David Strathairn.
